An amulet of resist mutation gives the wearer a 90% chance of avoiding most mutations. It does not protect against the following:
- Drinking a potion of gain strength, potion of gain dexterity, or potion of gain intelligence
- Bad mutations caused by offending Jiyva
Tips & Tricks
This is a very handy item to have if you're casting Blink (with teleport control) as your standard escape or kiting method; without it, the mutations accrued through glowing can make it impractical. If one prefers to wear a different amulet normally, this one can be worn only when the glow is critical, to wait it out until the glow has subsided.
