| Irresistibly weakens a creature's melee attacks for a period of time, requiring line of sight but not line of fire. |
Weakening Gaze is a monster-only spell which inflicts the Weak status effect on a target. Weak reduces the player's melee damage by 25%, and monsters' melee damage by 33%.

This spell is instant (MON_SPELL_INSTANT), which means monsters can cast it without spending a turn.
