Probably made by some mage who wanted to teach a lesson to adventurers who hungrily read every scroll that falls into their hands, this scroll creates a fiery explosion that damages anyone in the vicinity... including the user!
Uses
The explosion can wake nearby monsters, and singe your eyebrows... but it can also save you if you're surrounded by enemies and have run out of options to take them out, especially if you are resistant to fire or it's a swarm of relatively frail critters like killer bees. It no longer burn scrolls your character is carrying, thankfully.
