A wand of frost has the same effect as the spell Throw Frost, but with greater range and accuracy. Its damage output is based on your Evocations skill, but never becomes very impressive. It is inferior to the wand of cold. It can have at most 48 charges.
History
Wands of frost were removed in 0.18.
Prior to 0.16, this wand could hold up to 24 charges.
