Resonance (ego)

It improves the success rate of your Forgecraft spells and enhances your melee attacks proportionally to your Forgecraft skill.

Resonance is an ego found only on chain mail and plate armour that increases the success rate of the user's Forgecraft spells. It also increases the user's melee damage by 1.5% for each rank of Forgecraft skill.

Desirability

Unfortunately, you're still likely to see a noticeable increase in spell failure unless you invest in strength and armour skill, though Forgewrights have more reason than most mages to do so. This ego could be just the thing for a hybrid forgewright that likes to stay in the fight.

History

• In 0.35, resonance will be reworked to apply a 2% melee damage bonus per skill, but only when the target is adjacent to one of the wearer's constructs.
