Proposal: remove the comment regarding the waiting out the god retribution from the page since no longer valid. POssibly move this to history. Arcanist (talk) 22:56, 27 August 2015 (CEST)
- Well, what you say seems to make sense if I'm understanding it correctly. Basically, if you are under divine retribution, you can't wait it out in the temple because you can't kill anything there to gain the experience you need to eventually reduce your penance counter. In that sense, I don't disagree with your edit. That info is probably from prior times, when you could actually take a big chunk of perma-food down there and literally wait out the wrath. Out of respect for Bwijn, and because his reason for reverting your edit isn't entirely clear to me, let's hold off until he's had a chance to review and respond (if he wants to). Not everyone gets on here everyday, so we might want to give it a week. Bwijn might have some interest in changing that content or re-purposing that section. So, just hold off for now and we'll figure this one out with a little time. Clearly not many things here have to be done in a huge hurry. - In fact I looked it up and I agree with Arcanist now, I thought I had read it (the fact that you can't wait out divine retribution) in a trunk update, but it was actually in the 0.16 changelog, so Arcanist, apologies to you (I feel kinda dumb about this), and keep up the good work, don't let idiots like me deter you from helping the wiki! That being said you should try to write a description of the change you've done in the "summary" box right under the big editing box. Just so we can try to avoid any possible confusion and further reverts, Fingolfin, I'm assuming you looked at the code or some other such authoritative place as the basis of your date change to 0.14? If it's feasible and not too much trouble, maybe you could provide the source of your info for this latest edit so we can get everyone on the same page (or at least try to).
