Version 0.21: This article may not be up to date for the latest stable release of Crawl.
A dainty little knife which was made by Spriggans, or for Spriggans, or possibly from Spriggans. Anyway, it's in some way associated with those fey folk. |
+7 dagger
+4 EV
+4 Dexterity
+40 MR
+50 Stealth
Desirability
The spriggan's knife is very useful to stabbers; more stealth is always appreciated when you need to approach an enemy undetected, and the EV, dexterity, and MR boosts may help you survive if things don't go quite the way you plan. For characters that don't bother with stealth or stabbing the weapon will serve little purpose, as its base damage is too low to be used against high-AC targets even with the high damage enchantment, and the lack of a brand doesn't help any either.
