Very nicely written Guide! though i found it rather hard to survive during the time from the Temple to being granted Sublimation; as it involved running low on mana with strong enemys still alive and thus having to flee rather often. I was using Mephitic and Dart/Frost at that time. Am i overlooking something? Afterwards the guide is totaly right, as Lair gets kind of very very easy. --BlueCrake 12:24, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
- The situation you describe is pretty much the case with any spellcaster background that doesn't receive an early overpowered book. And this character depends a lot on finding the Lair or the Mines early -- if you don't, well, you use Bat Form and run around a lot. But that's still a lot safer than plain old running away from monsters as a Naga Wizard or some such. --Mr. K 01:22, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
Is it me or are Kobolds edible by vampires, but not bottlable? Seems odd that you can drink from their corpse, but not save it for later.--Chthon 20:03, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
- I just tried in wizard mode. You can't drain a kobold nor bottle it. Are you sure you haven't rPois while trying to drain? In this case seems logical to me you can drain but not bottle, since the game in this case would have to "remember" than the !blood is poisoned and I think this is not implemented. --Palin 21:05, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
- I'm playing .10 and yes I can drink from it when I am thirsty or worse (which this guide suggests you stay) so I do have rPois all the time. --Chthon 04:26, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
