This process results in a flurry of sparks, slag, and concussive shockwaves that do considerable damage to any enemies adjacent to the targeted construct, but it cannot be recast upon the same object until the enhancement wears off. |

Nazja's Percussive Tempering is a level 5 Forgecraft spell that buffs an allied creature created by a Forgecraft spell and creates a damaging shockwave around the target.
Useful Info
Targets an ally Forgecraft creature, dealing damage to adjacent enemies (you and your allies are not hurt), and applying the following effects to the target:
- Grants the creature the Tempered buff for 7-10 turns, boosting the monster's HD by 4 and increasing its melee damage by 25%.
- Heals the creature by 3d10 HP.
- If the tempered creature has less than 5 turns left, its duration will be increased by 3-5 turns.
It cannot be cast on a creature that already has Tempered, nor can it target spike launchers, blazeheart cores, or a monarch bomb's bomblets.
Strategy
The main appeal of this spell is intended to be the direct damage, turning spells like Launch Clockwork Bee and Alistair's Walking Alembic into small AOEs. Hellfire Mortar and Platinum Paragon are especially good at getting inside a crowd of monsters.
