This spell causes the caster to continuously abjure nearby hostile summoned creatures for a short while, rapidly sending each of them back where they came from.

Aura of Abjuration is a level 6 Summonings spell which gives you an abjuration aura. Any hostile summoned creatures within its range will have their duration reduced each turn, and will be dismissed entirely when their duration hits 0.


Strategy

  • You can cast this spell before combat with a summoner. This saves you a turn in combat to cast this spell but costs you a turn of duration. This is usually worthwhile against opponents that have other means of hurting you badly from behind their summons; think Greater mummies and Fiends.
