Version 0.20: This article may not be up to date for the latest stable release of Crawl.
Exhausted is a status effect you suffer from after using one of Ru's abilities.
There is no way to prevent this status effect from hitting you. However, the exhausted status' only effect on you is to prevent you from using Ru's abilities again until you've recovered.
History
Prior to 0.20, Death's Door and berserk wearing off made the character exhausted instead of just giving -DDoor or -Berserk respectively.
During its brief existence (0.14 and 0.15), making a jump attack would also inflict exhaustion.
