Desirability

The mask of the dragon[1] provides an interesting trade-off. Additional willpower and see invisible are occasionally very useful, and gaining slaying bonuses from your head slot is very tempting for any character who relies on physical damage, but you give up any AC you may have gained from your helmet slot in the process. This is usually worthwhile, unless you are really low on AC or happen to have another extremely useful artefact hat or helmet.
