Desirability
As good as any quick blade if not better, this is a very useful weapon if you can get your hands on it. Like all short blades it may need some slaying help against high-AC targets in the end-game, even with its higher base damage. A very respectable weapon nonetheless, though, unlike a quick blade, it will chop off hydra heads.
History
Prior to 0.10 this weapon carried a slaying bonus as a property; in later versions this was incorporated into its base damage.
