Turns the air near the caster into a mighty, short-lived vortex, doing tremendous damage to everyone caught in it. Those affected will also be swept up into the air and tossed around. Only the eye of the storm is a safe place, and it follows the caster. After the vortex fades, it cannot be called forth again for a short time. |
Vortex is a monster-only spell that conjures up a weak version of Tornado centered around the caster. This deals moderate physical damage, whirls creatures counter-clockwise, and causes short-lived flight. Unlike Tornado, it only has a radius of 3 and lasts only 3 turns.
Note that there is a bug where Vortex can send you through walls.
