The extremely tough and heavy skin of a golden dragon, covered in shimmering golden scales. It confers resistance to fire, cold and poison on its wearer, but provides little of its fabled protection against blows unless enchanted.

Gold dragon hide is a heavy armour which can be obtained by butchering a golden dragon corpse. It provides modest physical defense, as well as rF+, rC+, and rPois, but comes with a heavy EV penalty. Enchanting it with scroll of enchant armour turns it into a gold dragon armour, one of the most effective armours in the game for pure physical fighters.

It takes 5 turns to wear or remove a gold dragon hide.
