Not to be confused with any sort of mundane shield bearing a resistance ego, which can be referred to as a 'shield of resistance'.

Desirability
The shield of Resistance[1] is a wonderful item for almost any character. Offering two very useful resistances and a magic resistance boost on par with a ring of protection from magic, it's hard to find a better option for your shield slot. Any character that isn't already committed to wielding a two-handed weapon should consider making use of this beautiful item should they find it.
