| This amulet makes its wearer less accurate in hand combat and when targeting monsters via ranged weapons or spells. |
The amulet of inaccuracy decreases the accuracy of any attack by a random amount each time. At best the attack is just as accurate as normal; at worst, the attack suffers a -5 penalty (as if attacking an invisible target without see invisible).
This type of amulet is not always cursed, and is not identified upon equipping, so if you've just equipped a new amulet and find that your attacks are missing more than usual, you may have just found an amulet of inaccuracy.
