An axe with a delicate blessing placed on it by one of the sacred Seraphim, so that worthy adventurers would rid this world of demons. Rejoice, for it has ways of bringing courage to its wielder in even the darkest places...

Mechanics

For every "tough" enemy in line of sight, the labrys gains +3 enchantment. For every "nasty" enemy, it gains +9 enchantment. Maximum enchantment is +16.

Desirability

A +4 broad axe with holy wrath is already a great weapon for the extended game, and the Consecrated labyrys is a direct upgrade. A +27 holy axe is sure to be effective there.

During the 3-rune portion of the game, it can still be a great weapon. While its brand will rarely be effective, it has a high enchantment, especially against tough monsters.

• The Consecrated labrys was added in 0.30.
