Blink Allies Encircling

Translocates a number of allies in the caster's sight to surround a targeted enemy.

Blink Allies Encircling is a monsters-only spell designed to quickly surround a target with enemies. Several allies of the caster that are within its line of sight instantly blink into random positions adjacent to the target. These allies must be capable of blinking and not already adjacent to the target.

The number of allies that the caster can translocate at once depends on the caster's HD:

HD/8 + 1d(HD/4 - 1)

The following enemies cast Blink Allies Encircling:

• q Draconian shifter
• S Guardian serpent

The following enemies may be able to cast Blink Allies Encircling, depending on their spell set:

• & Pandemonium lord (1.4% chance)

History

• Prior to 0.28, monsters could immediately act after being blinked by this spells.
• Prior to 0.26, pandemonium lords couldn't cast this spell.
• Prior to 0.14, all casters could blink 2-5 allies.
• This spell was added in 0.13.
