A beautiful rainbow of colour and motion trapped within a delicate crystal on a thin silver chain. Listening carefully, one can hear the distant echo of a thousand dreams from all corners of reality, their melody giving a warm sense of safety.

Upon a (near) lethal hit, it shatters: negating the hit, healing the player from half maximum HP to full HP, summons Shadow Creatures, and creates fog.

Desirability

The dreamshard necklace, akin to the amulet of life saving in many other roguelikes, is an incredibly useful artefact. It is the ultimate escape item, though continously occupies the amulet slot (in place of nice amulets like the [amulet of the Four Winds]] or even a regular amulet of reflection), and is only usable once. While it is mistake insurance, please make sure you've tried everything else, first.

Already having multiple lives, the felid recieves somewhat less benefit from this amulet.
