A honeycomb is a food found in the Dungeon which provides 2,000 nutrition and can be eaten by any species at any level of hunger except engorged. Light-weight and filling, they are one of the finest foodstuffs.

It is rare to find them randomly generated, but cracking open any killer bee vaults you come across should reveal several honeycombs, along with royal jelly.

History

Honeycombs were renamed to royal jellies in 0.15. The item formerly known as royal jelly was retired.
