If it's a Hell effect miscast, or if you're already in the Abyss with a (current depth/max depth) chance (so always failing on the lowest level, currently 5 unless I'm mistaken). Though I did just realize, it first tries to place Malign gateway, then only rerolls if that also fails (which can happen for placement reasons, I believe). -Ion frigate (talk) 18:54, 3 December 2013 (CET)
