This spell is greatly prized by summoners and necromancers, as it allows the caster to recall any friendly creatures to a nearby position adjacent to the caster. |
Recall is a Summonings/Translocations spell which gradually teleports all enslaved or summoned creatures on the current floor to the caster's vicinity, one every 3-6 aut. It can only bring creatures to within a three-square radius of the caster, so don't expect to pull entire armies into cramped hallways. In an open area (at least 7-by-7, with the caster in the middle), it can summon at most 48 creatures.
History
Prior to 0.12 it was impossible to recall flying monsters over lava or deep water.
