Static Discharge is a level 3 Conjurations/Air Magic spell which releases charges of electricity at one or more targets adjacent to the caster. It then has a chance based on spellpower to arc to more adjacent targets, losing power as it does so. It can arc back to the caster, although it deals low self-damage which is reduced further if the caster is flying.
It does not affect airborne or electricity-resistant enemies.
History
In 0.13 this spell ignores the airborne status (both for the player and the monsters).
Prior to 0.9, this was a level 4 spell.
