Deflecting effects

I just had to learn - ouch this sort of "logic" hurts - that a wand of draining (negative energy) counts as "missiles" which are deflected completely. -- Bwijn (talk) 20:10, 27 September 2013 (CEST)

The logic is: if it checks your EV, then it can be deflected. --CommanderC (talk) 20:39, 27 September 2013 (CEST)
I don't catch your reply. Sure, deflection happens by checking EV. - My complaint/talk was about the miserable equation 'energy = missile' logic. Surely, 'e = m x c²' (Einstein). But we don't have any light velocity so the equation doesn't fit at all. -- Bwijn (talk) 21:19, 27 September 2013 (CEST)
Basically, any projectile attack, be it an arrow or a beam of fire, can be bent out of the way by DMissiles. It's magic -- it doesn't have to make sense according to physics. --spudwalt (talk) 23:01, 27 September 2013 (CEST)
Your explanation is okay, dear Spudwalt. But sorry, I'm not easily giving up basic logic of nature's laws and language even while considering it a game. I just don't appreciate "supernatural" nonsense anywhere in my life! -- Bwijn (talk) 15:24, 29 September 2013 (CEST)
