Hi CommanderC, I saw you added five new Crypt:5 designs just yesterday. Thanks! Yet I believe there could be at least one another. I compared my fresh 0.14.1 impression of the floor and none of the listed 8 designs seems to match. It couldn't be 'Eye to Eye With the Devil' as it wasn't a small chamber and there were no offensive statues. And it wasn't definitely none of the other seven described designs. I looked it up named as david_glass_crypt. Would you mind to have another look into it? -- [[User:Bwijn|Bwijn]] ([[User talk:Bwijn|talk]]) 17:06, 13 August 2014 (CEST) | Hi CommanderC, I saw you added five new Crypt:5 designs just yesterday. Crypt:5 designs
-- Bwijn (talk) 17:06, 13 August 2014 (CEST)
- That's the real name of "Eye to Eye with the Devil", which is a comment that appears in the source code just before the definition of this vault. --CommanderC (talk) 22:03, 13 August 2014 (CEST)
- Hm, okay. But that means the present wiki description is wrong: there are neither 'offensive statues' nor is the loot building a 'small chamber'. -- Bwijn (talk) 00:07, 14 August 2014 (CEST)
- That's entirely possible; the current description is just a condensed version of the ancient "EtEwtD" explanation, converted into a couple quick lines. That information dated back to before I started updating the wiki (mountain dwarves still roamed the Dungeon). It's quite possible the vault was overhauled since then. What kind of opponents did you encounter? --MoogleDan (talk) 04:58, 14 August 2014 (CEST)
- I found two ancient liches encaged in metal crates at the upper corners of the loot hall, no statues, two Phantasmal warriors and some plain monsters like a dragon skeleton and skeletal warriors that seemed to be there by chance. There were two broad doors opened by wandering monsters. (Outside the building later I killed a skeletal warrior who carried an unrand weapon and a box of beasts which I had seen before through the transparent wall window of the loot hall. BTW the wiki didn't know by now that 'weapons and armor' flag monsters take even gadgets (the box) from the floor.) The loot comprehended ~10-15 items. The LOS of both liches united only at the entrance. One step ahead and only one could see you. It began summoning demons immediately. I needed to use the wand of disintegration to open the cage in order to kill the ancient lich by Dispell undead. -- Bwijn (talk) 10:31, 14 August 2014 (CEST)
