A few effects in the game call for the creation of a lesser demon, most notably the monster spell Summon Minor Demon (but not Call Imp, which has its own list). This chooses a random tier-5 demon from the following list:

Crimson imp - 5
Iron imp - 5
Quasit - 5
Shadow imp - 5
Ufetubus - 5
White imp
History
Prior to 0.14, the player could summon 7-11 lesser demons with the Demonic Horde spell.
