Suppression is a status effect which causes all magic items to behave as their mundane counterparts:
- All brands and egos from equipment are negated - they have no functional effect.
- You cannot evoke items (like rods, wands, and magical staves).
- The effects of all jewellery are negated.
Enchantment and base properties (damage, AC) are unaffected. Cursed items cannot be unequipped under suppression, and any negative effects from unequipping an item (vampiric, distortion) happen as usual.
Moths of suppression emit an aura of suppression, inflicting this status to anything inside.
