Alphabetical List of Potions
Potion of ... Description
agility +5 Dex, +5 EV, and +Stlth for a few turns.
berserk rage Makes you go berserk for a few turns.
blood Provides satiation for Vampires. Can cause sickness depending on carnivorous status in other species.
brilliance +5 Int, wizardry bonus, and spell power bonus for a few turns.
coagulated blood Provides some satiation for Vampires (slightly less than a potion of blood). Can cause sickness depending on carnivorous status in other species.
confusion Confuses you for a few turns.
cure mutation Attempts to remove 1-7 of your mutations.
curing Removes poison, confusion, sickness, or rotting; also heals 4+1d7 HP or unrots 1d2 HP at full health.
decay Inflicts the rot status for a few turns.
degeneration You lose 1-4 points off a random stat (Str, Int, Dex).
experience You gain a level and a large amount of XP is applied to your trained skills.
gain dexterity You gain one level of the "you are agile" mutation (+1 Dex).
gain intelligence You gain one level of the "your mind is acute" mutation (+1 Int).
gain strength You gain one level of the "your muscles are strong" mutation (+1 Str).
heal wounds Heals 9+1d28 HP or unrots 2d3 HP at full health.
invisibility Makes you invisible for a few turns.
levitation Causes you to levitate for a few turns, but without controlled flight.
magic Recovers 9+1d28 MP.
might +5 Str, +1d10 damage per attack for a few turns.
mutation You get 1-3 random mutations.
paralysis You cannot move or act for a few turns.
poison You are mildly poisoned.
porridge Provides 6000 nutrition.
resistance Provides one level of each of the five resistances, which time out independently of one another.
restore abilities Restores lost stat points (Str, Int, Dex).
slowing Slows you down for a few turns.
speed Grants you Haste for a few turns.
strong poison You are severely poisoned.
water Restores 60 satiation.
