The amulet of clarity grants the clarity intrinsic, protecting its wearer from unintentional berserking, being misled, and most forms of confusion. This protection has limits, however; it cannot stop confusion caused by a god's wrath, and equipping it while confused will not immediately cure the condition (though it will stop whatever confused you from extending your confusion).
