Attempts to teleport a targeted creature out of the caster's sight, after a short delay. |
Teleport Other is a level 3 Translocations spell which causes a monster to randomly teleport a few turns later. High magic resistance defends against it, and there is no way to control where the target will land. As the name implies, you cannot target yourself with it.
Strategy
Unless you specifically want to make annoying player ghosts, this spell usually isn't worth learning. It's resistible, takes several turns to activate, and, just as a random teleport can land you right back where you started, so too can teleporting a strong monster.
