Vertigo is a temporary status effect that decreases your evasion, spellcasting success, and accuracy (-5 to-hit[1]) until it wears off.
Vertigo can be caused when casting Alistair's Intoxication or as a result of being hit by a plum Killer Klown pie.
A potion of cancellation will remove the vertigo status (as well as many other status effects). Potions of curing have no effect.
History
- Prior to 0.25, miscasting a Hexes spell could cause 10-20 turns of vertigo.
