Version 0.32: This article may not be up to date for the latest stable release of Crawl.
| You are disoriented and dizzy, reducing your accuracy, evasion, and spellcasting success rate. |
Vertigo is a temporary status effect that decreases your evasion (-5 EV), spellcasting success, and accuracy (-5 to-hit[1]) until it wears off.
Vertigo can be caused when casting Alistair's Intoxication or as a result of being hit by a plum Killer Klown pie.
A potion of cancellation will remove the vertigo status (as well as many other status effects). Potions of curing have no effect.
History
- In 0.33, potions of moonshine will be added, which will inflict vertigo for 10-25 turns when quaffed.
- Prior to 0.25, miscasting a Hexes spell could cause 10-20 turns of vertigo.
