A magical armour made from the scales of a swamp dragon. It confers resistance to poison on its wearer.

Swamp dragon armour is an excellent body armour for use by low strength characters and casters, providing respectable AC and GDR with a manageable EV penalty of -2. It also provides poison resistance, rendering many early- and mid-game threats almost harmless.

Unfortunately, this armour is very rare. You can make your own swamp dragon armour by using a scroll of enchant armour on a swamp dragon hide, which you can acquire by butchering a swamp dragon corpse. If your particular game generated the Snake Pit instead of the Swamp, it is extremely unlikely that you'll be able to find any such dragons to slay.
