Desirability
Eos[1] has a decent base type, an excellent enchantment level, and a powerful brand.
Though the halo provides a handy see invisible effect and makes your enemies easier to hit, it also drastically reduces your Stealth and makes you easier to hit in return. Overall, it's a desirable weapon useful into the end-game.
Tips & Tricks
When Stealth is at a premium (say, for lower-level characters entering a new level), unwield Eos when exploring, and wield when you actually go into melee.
History
- Prior to 0.19, it had no halo, but granted See Invisible and disabled teleporting. Also, the enchantment was +11 instead of +10.
- Prior to 0.15, "Eos" had a +11, +11 enchantment.
- Prior to 0.8, "Eos" had a +5, +5 enchantment.
