Command
- Pressing ~ will display the game's menu, which lists out a variety of options:
- Exit menu (Esc)
- Save the game (S)
- Create character dump (as #)
- Edit player tile (-, not available on Webtiles)
- Edit macros and keymaps (~)
- Help (?)
- Lookup info (/, as ?/)
- Quit and suicide (Q, as ctrl-Q)
Many of these options are available without opening this menu (with the same keys, too).
History
- Prior to 0.27, the ~ command was purely to edit macros/keymaps.
