Teleporters are rare dungeon features which usually come in pairs. Stepping on one teleporter tile will instantly transport you to the other teleporter tile if there is one, and vice versa. Typically, one teleporter is readily accessible, if guarded, to the player. The other is relatively inaccessible and is located in a room of monsters or treasure or both. Caution is advised.
