Desirability

Leech, like any vampiric demon blade, is a very nice thing to have, and the slight stat, AC and EV costs are reasonably well worth it, especially considering that it activates more often than normal vampiric weapons do. You may wish to switch to something more damaging if you run into a particularly nasty undead enemy; given this weapon's brand, doing so often may cause problems.

History

Prior to 0.14, Leech's vampiric effect was only activated on 60% of all attacks, like all other vampiric weapons.
