Very ugly things are more powerful versions of ugly things: their colors are the same, but they hit harder and have more powerful versions of their lesser kins' elemental attacks, as well as a greater degree of resistance:

Tips & Tricks
- Like their smaller counterparts, they are faster than most species on foot. If you can't deal with them and an exit isn't near, consider teleporting away.
- Very ugly things have 18 hit dice, meaning their elemental attacks (particularly cold ones) will deal extreme damage if you aren't resistant.
