Score

When games are finished, they are given a final score, dependent on several factors, the most impactful of which are:

  • player XL
  • number of runes collected
  • whether the game was won
  • the number of turns taken, if the game was a win.

Morgues and scores of games played on any of the online servers are recorded for future reference.

High scores

The highest score of any game played online is 1,859,332,704 by edsrzf, when a bug caused the game to switch to sprint scoring. Excluding this bugged game, the highest score was Sapher's Gnoll Necromancer of Cheibriados, which was completed on June 10th, 2018 in version 0.21.1. The morgue for this game can be found here.

A list of the 1000 top-scoring games played online can be found here.

The top score for each combo can be found here.

Offline games are not included for the purposes of high scores, because there is no way to guarantee that the source code of the game, or the morgue of the game, was not modified to change the way the game works or how it is scored.
