the +9 armour of the Dragon King

Desirability
The armour of the Dragon King is essentially a +9 gold dragon armour with +50 MR. While you can get better AC by fully enchanting a mundane gold dragon armour, the MR bonus more than makes up for this, and finding enough scrolls of enchant armour to actually create a superior AC suit is very unlikely. Any character that doesn't care much about EV or spellcasting will find this armour incredibly useful. Unfortunately, such characters are a distinct minority for most players.
