Version 0.18: This article may not be up to date for the latest stable release of Crawl.
The card depicts a winged soldier with a flaming sword, leading a vast army.

The Crusade card performs the following depending on the power level.

  • Power Level 0: Casts Aura of Abjuration at 1/4 the spell power of the card.
  • Power Levels 1 & 2: Attempts to convert all non-unique, non-magic immune monsters within the line of sight to the player's cause, then casts Abjuration as above. For each eligible monster in LOS, if 1d(spell power) > the monster's HD ×35, it will be temporarily charmed. Monsters that disgust the player's god are ineligible.

History

Aura of Abjuration replaced Mass Abjuration in 0.14.
