- Indeed it is, and that's why it has its own Searing Ray page with the 0.13 version tag. Once that version becomes official, we'll update Conjurations and other pertinent pages with this information. For now though, it stays out. --MoogleDan 02:11, 3 August 2013 (CEST)
- Yes, I see now. Commander has entried it in the Book of Conjurations text on 17 July. BTW I'm not happy with losing Force lance which was indeed a very useful spell for weak casters to survive early game. The new 'ersatz' spell is of dubious value. - Back to original topic: Not me alone had expected to find "Searing ray" in the Conjurations listing. After I didn't find it there I concluded that it's still quite insecure if new trunk features make it in the final 0.13 release. IMHO Searing Ray should be written in the listing & the category crystal ball added. -- Bwijn 09:43, 3 August 2013 (CEST)
- Well, it's like you said right there; its future is "still quite insecure". Trunk features don't always make it all the way to the release, and frankly I dislike when one possible change results in me having to edit things in multiple places. If it really bothers you, add a History section to Conjurations and just say, "In 0.13, the level 2 spell Searing Ray will be added, and Force Lance will be moved to level 5." Add the Crystal Ball Articles category and you're done. Simple as that. If it turns out not to be true, no harm done, we can just delete it later. --MoogleDan 14:57, 3 August 2013 (CEST)
