Reading a scroll of amnesia causes you to forget a spell of your choosing, restoring some MP. It will only identify if you already know at least one spell. You may press Esc after reading to cancel the scroll's effect.

Stategy

  • Any caster who does not worship Sif Muna should hoard these for the late game. They are a much less expensive means of forgetting spells than destroying spell books.
  • As a last resort tactic, using one of these in combat on a high level spell you don't care about may give you the MP you need to finish a difficult fight.
