A member of a short, sturdy mountain-dwelling folk. More robust than their deep dwarf cousins, yet less skilled in magical lore, dwarves excel in armed hand to hand combat. |
Useful Info
Dwarves are fairly typical humanoid monsters. Unlike deep dwarves, they are capable of regeneration and lack damage reduction. They are fairly weak and only as dangerous as the equipment they generate with or find. They can be found in certain vaults.
Tips & Tricks
- If you see one that isn't obviously part of a vault, it's probably a shapeshifter.
- Unlike deep dwarves, regular dwarves can regenerate health over time. They're weak enough that this isn't likely to become an issue, however.
Variant Dwarves
Certain vaults contain members of the obsolete mountain and hill dwarf races. They aren't any different from normal dwarves, though.
Mountain dwarves are surface-dwelling relatives of the deep dwarves. After years of war with the taller but otherwise quite similar hill orcs, the mountain dwarves were conquered and driven from these lands. This one has been imported from foreign shores. |
Hill dwarves are a subrace of dwarves who, as their name implies, live on hills. Once able adventurers, the hill dwarves no longer have any interest in dungeon delving. This one was captured specially for this exhibit. |
