Just observations
I've no proves but observed while playing trunk/014a at home that scrolls of acquirement seem to give much less 'true random' but mostly items of downgraded quality. Rarely ever you also find randarts which have not a least one very negative attribute (such as Str-5). This is not included in the 0.14 changelog up to now. What do you think about this? -- Bwijn (talk) 12:45, 30 November 2013 (CET)
- Bad luck on your part. On Tavern, I actually watched a thread where one of the devs convinced the others to scale the "average" enchantment bonuses of randarts up by +3, +3, and I know that I've certainly acquired plenty of excellent gear since 0.14 started. Sometimes the RNG just generates bad though... Keep at it; you'll get something good. --MoogleDan (talk) 14:15, 30 November 2013 (CET)
Dithmengos
Any news about this new stealthy God? Syneil (talk) 14:01, 15 January 2014 (CET)
- Yes, he is called Dithmenos now, and he is a very good choice for Assassins. -- Bwijn (talk) 18:17, 9 August 2014 (CEST)
Stats bias
Citation "Repel and Deflect Missiles now expire on a per-deflection basis rather than being a duration." The new idea of 'Repel and Deflect Missiles' produces strange bias in stats log. If not continually stumbling upon bands of centaurs or yaktaurs your 'RMsl'-status effect is very longliving. The log respectively tells of very low counts of spell usage nowadays. -- Bwijn (talk) 18:17, 9 August 2014 (CEST)
Log bug in 0.14 /0.14.1
I was surprised to notice that for unknown reasons the 0.14.1 game log (whose script default I didn't accustom) doesn't report the finding of unrands like Punk or Gauntlets of War. At the same game findings of randarts or rods were logged correctly. Anybody out there who's got an idea why? -- Bwijn (talk) 18:17, 9 August 2014 (CEST)
