A brightly-coloured lizard with huge, sharp teeth. The pads on its toes allow it to cling to walls and ceilings. |
Useful info
Leopard geckos are one of the more dangerous creatures you can run into on the first floor of the dungeon. They are more difficult to kill than Frilled lizards and they move faster than most players. Flimsy characters that try to run for it often get bitten to death.
Tips and tricks
- The leopard gecko may be the first monster that you learn to avoid, but they are only dangerous to very low-level characters. Once you've got a bit of experience under your belt, they stop being a threat.
- Leopard geckos can cling to walls, which allows them to cross obstacles like water or traps without risk. Fortunately, they're weak enough that this rarely makes a difference.
Tips and tricks
Until version 0.19 they were called giant geckos.
