Version 0.25: This article may not be up to date for the latest stable release of Crawl.
There are several occurrences of water in Crawl:
- Shallow water, a type of terrain which randomly slows the actions of most species, and a home for aquatic and amphibious creatures.
- Deep water, a type of terrain that is deadly to most species, and again which may hold aquatic and amphibious monsters.
In addition, there are numerous things such as steam, ice, primal wave, and mist that are forms of water. These are all covered on their own pages.
