Useful Info
Ironbound preservers are durable enemy support fighters which can take damage in place of their allies, making it more difficult to kill dangerous-yet-flimsy opponents first. Coupled with their ability to heal themselves, their presence can significantly lengthen battles with groups of foes. They can be found in the Vaults, usually accompanying bands of deep trolls, deep elves, orcs, or ogres, and often supporting a vault warden.

Tips & Tricks
- Injury Bond causes half the damage dealt to an affected enemy to be redirected to the ironheart preserver, effectively doubling the HP of everything around it until the preserver is destroyed. On top of that, they'll occasionally heal themselves if you let them live long enough to do so. Get around that by overwhelming them with a lethal amount of shared damage quickly. Pouring damage into soft, squishy targets (like the plentiful ogres in the Vaults) can kill them off rapidly, especially if you use area-of-effect spells that hit multiple targets.
