Reading the words on this scroll translocates you to a random position after a short delay.

Reading a scroll of teleportation will cause the player to become "strangely unstable" and then teleport to a random location several turns later. Alternatively, you can read one while waiting for a teleport to kick in to negate that teleport and keep yourself in place.

Teleport control allows the player to pick his destination. However, he may only select a known tile: one that has been previously seen or one that has been revealed to him by a scroll of magic mapping, Ashenzari's terrain detection, or the Sense Surroundings mutation.
